Location & schedule

Geolocation is optional and only used for display. Hours of operation pause acquisition outside the daily window to save CPU and storage overnight — analysis of already-captured footage is unaffected, and a site outside its hours shows as Sleeping rather than unhealthy.

Zones

Draw a polygon on the reference frame: click to add points, then Finish. Press Esc or Undo point to remove the last point. Click edit on a saved zone below to load it back onto the canvas. Coordinates are stored normalised (0–1), so they survive a change of feed resolution.

No reference frame yet — zones can be drawn once the first segment has been analysed.

A SAM3 zone with no drawn shape (0 points, then Finish) applies to the entire scene.

Every axis reads the whole frame unless you draw it a shape. Ground surface and water surface stay off until you turn them on, so a camera that shows no water never reports a water state.

Text Overlays

Burned into rendered clips by default (a per-render request can override these). Content may reference {timestamp}, {site_name}, {rule_name}, {metric:concept.count}, {ocr:field}; an unresolved variable renders as empty text. X/Y are 0-1 offsets from the chosen corner and may become pixel-based in a future release.

Metric Webhooks

Piggy POSTs a JSON payload to each URL below whenever any of its watched metrics changes value between segments -- see /api/v1/docs for the payload shape. Best-effort, single attempt, no retry.
